The Step Brothers are back, and they want Snoop Dogg to have a very happy birthday.

On Saturday, the day after Snoop celebrated his 52nd birthday, the rap legend shared the stage with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly for the Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show. But before he could leave the spotlight, Snoop was surprised to be the center of attention thanks to a special announcement from Reilly.

"Yesterday was a very special day," Reilly told the crowd at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, in a video shared to Snoop's Instagram. "It was Mr. Snoop Dogg's birthday. We're about to sing happy birthday to the greatest rapper in the world!"

The video, offering a backstage view, sees Ferrell wheeling out a huge three-tier cake for the MC, who promptly pulls out a joint to light with his birthday candles.

"That's what I'm talking about," Reilly said, as the crowd applauded.

The duo then led the crowd in a "Happy Birthday" sing-along, followed by Snoop blowing out his candles.

"My brothers surprised me 🎂🐾🔥😂," Snoop captioned his post. "Will and John."

Prior to the birthday festivities, Reilly and Ferrell teamed up for a performance of "Boats 'N Hoes," the song originally sung by their characters Brennan and Dale in Step Brothers. Snoop hopped onstage for a verse, before all three launched into the rapper's 1994 hit, "Gin and Juice."

While Ferrell and Reilly obviously share a long collaboration history — including Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Holmes & Watson — the Anchorman star also has a history with Snoop. They both appeared in 2003's Old School, and later doled out insults during Justin Bieber's 2015 Comedy Central roast.
