Fergie says daughter Princess Eugenie is 'not pregnant,' jokes about living with her ex

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York and mother of just-married Princess Eugenie, dashed rumors that Eugenie is pregnant during a party in Massachusetts over the weekend.

According to a local reporter for Dailybreak.com, who recorded the duchess' remarks and posted a video on Twitter, "Fergie," as she is still known in the United Kingdom, joked about still living with her ex, Prince Andrew the Duke of York.

She also joked about how much she likes tequila now that her son-in-law, Jack Brooksbank, sells George Clooney's brand for a living.

And she put the kibosh on rumors that her younger daughter, Eugenie, and Jack, who married in October, are pregnant. Eugenie, 30, is one of Queen Elizabeth II's grandchildren.

"No, she's not pregnant," Fergie declared while rambling on about "what journalists say" about her and her family. "And they're all here, you know." Meaning the journalists.

The Eugenie-is-pregnant rumors popped up on Twitter in June among British royal fans and correspondents during Royal Ascot week, when Eugenie arrived for the annual horse-racing extravaganza in London to be greeted with facial expressions of delight from her cousin, Zara Phillips Tindall, and her cousin-in-law, Duchess Kate of Cambridge.

Supposedly, Eugenie was touching her belly a lot, according to the Twitter commentary quoted by the tabloid Express.

But the pregnancy rumors are not true, says Fergie, 59, who would probably know.

The party in Norwood, Massachusetts, hosted by Ernie Boch Jr., 61, the CEO of a $1 billion chain of automobile dealerships in Massachusetts, was for Fergie, who is exploring business and philanthropic opportunities with Boch, his company said in a statement, according to the Boston Herald.

Besides belaying speculation about a ninth great-grandchild for the queen, Duchess Sarah also joked about her unconventional living situation: She and Prince Andrew, 59, the queen's second son, have been divorced more than twice as long as their 10-year marriage, but they still live under the same roof, at Royal Lodge on the Windsor Castle estate, and also jointly own a Swiss chalet.

"I do live in Royal Lodge with my handsome prince, who is the best-looking prince of the whole darn lot," she told the party, which appeared to be taking place outdoors in the gardens of Boch's estate.

Son-in-law Brooksbank, she explained "sells tequila for Casamigos, which we love. It makes me even more of a yummy mummy because I just drink the tequila when I go and sell it.”

Last week, Eugenie, one of the few royals to maintain her own Instagram page, offered wedding anniversary congratulations to her parents, who got married 33 years ago and have been divorced for 23 years.
