Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are two of the biggest female rappers in the industry. Minaj took to her Twitter page to correct the notion that the comment was aimed at Cardi as she had written those raps several months before. In August 2017, during a performance, Cardi called out an unnamed woman saying she was not interested in being friends, and fans concluded that her words were for Nicki Minaj. Later on in an interview with MTV VMAs, Cardi insisted that she was not involved in any beef with her co-female rapper as she was only interested in making music and money.

Cardi B's single titled "Bodak Yelow" finally hit number one on the music charts and Nicki Minaj congratulated the rapper via Instagram. In October 2017, both rappers were featured in a song by Migos titled "Motorsport" and fans concluded that they were not getting along as they appeared in two different scenes. Weeks later, Cardi cleared up the speculations saying that there was no bad blood between her and Minaj. She also mentioned that they had talked for a while before going on set.

For months now, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have directly and indirectly spewed harsh words at each other. Although they have insisted that they are in a good place, fans believe that this is false. Recently, Cardi sparked up speculations with a popular picture on Instagram that reads;

"I don't want to end this year on a bad note. Apologize to me."

This brought up a controversy among fans who firmly believe that the message was directed at Minaj. The rapper has not come out to deny these speculations, so fingers are crossed on this.

Just as Nicki Minaj is a successful and respected female rapper, the same can be said about Cardi B. There is no real evidence that suggests that both women do not like each other, but in their line of career, these unfortunate events are bound to happen. Will these female rappers trash out their differences before the end of the year? Who knows!

Recently, Minaj revealed to the world that she had gotten a marriage license with her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty. Also, Cardi B was recently cast in "Fast and Furious 9" and fans are excited for her.
