‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Casts Zoe Colletti, Promotes 2 to Series Regulars

AMC has cast Zoe Colletti in a series regular role on “Fear the Walking Dead.” The network also promoted two existing cast members on the show to series regulars.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is currently in production for Season 6 in Austin, Texas. AMC didn’t reveal too many details about Colletti’s role, but that it was “pivotal” and will “unfurl as the season progresses.”

The promoted series regulars are Mo Collins and Colby Hollman. Collins, who plays Sarah, was introduced in season four after encountering Morgan (Lennie James) at a truck stop. She then joins the group, along with her brother, on their mission to help those in need. Hollman, who plays Wes, though initially reluctant to accept help from the group, eventually comes around to their philosophy and joins them, only to be split up by Virginia (Colby Minifie) in the season finale, according to AMC.

The series also stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, Ruben Blades and Karen David.

Colletti most recently appeared in “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.” She is also known for Showtime’s “City on a Hill” starring Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge and “Wildlife” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Carrie Mulligan.
