‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Adds ‘Teen Wolf’ Alum Daniel Sharman as Series Regular (Exclusive)

“Teen Wolf” alum Daniel Sharman has joined the cast of AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead” as a new series regular, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

The “Walking Dead” spinoff stars Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Rubén Blades, Mercedes Mason and Cliff Curtis.

In Season 3, Sharman will play a character named Troy, described as having a wild temperament and suspicious of outsiders, who is charismatic with a cruel streak.

Robert Kirkman, the writer of the comic book on which “The Walking Dead” is based and an executive producer on the original show, also serves as executive producer on “Fear the Walking Dead,” along with executive producers Greg Nicotero, Gale Ann Hurd and David Alpert.

Dave Erickson is the showrunner.

Season 3 of “Fear the Walking Dead” is currently filming in Mexico, and will premiere in 2017.

Sharman is best known for his role on MTV’s “Teen Wolf” and also recurred on The CW’s “The Originals, and most recently PBS’ “Mercy Street.” He is represented by Gersh and Management 360.
