‘FBOY Island’ reality show: 2 Florida guys try to date a former Bachelorette on The CW

Reality TV junkies know that if you’re looking for your next mindless binge, there’s no shortage of dating shows to pick from.

And on Monday, Oct. 16, what this reality TV enthusiast considers to be the most dramatic, fun, chaos-riddled dating show on a streaming service right now will air a new season.

Welcome to “FBOY Island,” where 24 men compete to couple up with one of three lovely ladies. The catch? Half of them are self-proclaimed “nice guys,” the other half are proud “fboys,” or players. And the men don’t reveal what they are until they’ve been eliminated. The women have to rely on each other to guess which guys are fboys and who is there for love.

To top it all off, The CW show is hosted by Comedy Central darling, stand-up comedian and self-proclaimed fboy expert, enthusiast and exterminator Nikki Glaser.

And this season, one of the women on the show is a former Bachelorette and two contestants from the Sunshine State will be competing to convince her and the other women that they’re nice guys.

Here’s how to watch the new season of “FBOY Island,” who the Florida contestants are and how the show works.

What is the prize on ‘FBOY Island’ reality TV show?

Each of the nice guys are supposedly on the show to find love (and split $100,000 in prize money with a hot girl). And the fboys are there to take the $100,000 and leave a hot girl crying (or swearing, or both).

Aside from the obvious, there’s another interesting twist to this dating show that makes the structure of the game stand out among others. When men are eliminated and leave the villa, they don’t go home. Nice guys go to live in another villa called the “Nice Guy Grotto” and fboys go to “Limbro,” a comically dumpy beach camp.

Footage of the women dating the remaining contestants are cut with clips of Nikki Glaser coaching the fboys on how to be nicer guys, whilst the nice guys feed each other grapes, sip cocktails and quite literally look down on the “Limbro” camp from the grotto balcony.

Is ‘FBOY Island’ coming back for season 3?

Yes! The third season of “FBOY Island” will be airing on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023.
