FBoy Island’s Katie Thurston Not Interested in Dating on TV Again

New FBoy Island star Katie Thurston is saying goodbye to looking for love on TV.
The former Bachelorette star is making another run at love on the third season of the show FBoy Island. She’s on the show alongside influencer Daniella Grace and model Hali Okeowo.
The show allows the three women to go through 24 men and see which boys are “nice guys” and which are the dreaded “F-boys,” all in the hopes of finding a good partner and splitting the show’s $100,000 prize.
And while Katie has always been entertaining to watch and forthcoming on TV, she said that FBoy Island might be the last time she dates in front of a camera.

Katie says that FBoy Island might be the last time she dates in front of the cameras.
She told The Messenger, “I would prefer to just quit being single and going on reality shows. In a perfect world, FBoy Island is the last reality dating TV show I do.”
This isn’t to say that Katie hasn’t enjoyed the FBoy Island experience. In fact, she said that FBoy Island was different than being on Bachelorette because there is more than one lead looking for love.
That made it a better experience for her because she formed a “sisterhood” with Daniella and Hali. They supported each other every step of the way.
“The Bachelor and The Bachelorette was a very lonely experience,” Katie said. “This was the opposite of that. I had them there with me every single day for a month, and I couldn’t have survived without them.”
How will it end?
We have yet to see how FBoy Island will end. If Katie successfully finds love, she won’t have to go back to reality TV dating. During the show’s start, she connected with fellow reality star Vince Xu from The One That Got Away.
However, she was also interested in fellow comedian Benedict Polizzi from a previous season, whom Katie revealed that she specifically asked for on the show despite his previous appearance.
“Benedict’s my type,” she said. “Seeing him get so far in the second season and then not get picked made me think, can we bring him back on my season?” And the producers granted her wish. So, with him back, things could go either way.
And there may be trouble in paradise among Katie’s choices as they reveal if they are an F-boy or a Nice Guy.
“You think you know who someone is, and there’s a moment later in the season where the reveal really messes you up,” she said.
