It's been a good year for new restaurants across the Space Coast. More than 60 have opened, including fine dining establishments and casual counter service places.

So whether you're looking for Mexican or Mediterranean, sushi or sandwiches, we've got something on our list that you'll enjoy.

Aha by Ember & Oak, 712 E. New Haven Ave., downtown Melbourne, facebook.com/AhaByEmberAndOak. The stationary food truck in the courtyard next to high-end steakhouse Ember & Oak lets the E&O chefs get creative with burgers, tacos and other dishes. It opened in May.

Agave D’Oro Mexican Bar and Grill, 3955 W. New Haven Ave., West Melbourne, 321-327-3501, on Facebook. The Mexican restaurant opened in early August in the building formerly occupied by Bennigan's.

Albaik Kabob and Gyro House, 1288 Sarno Road, Melbourne, 321-622-6355, on Facebook. The restaurant opened at the first of the year, serving kabobs, gyros, hummus and other Mediterranean specialties.

Alligator Reef Club, 529 E. New Haven Ave., downtown Melbourne, 321-389-7519, facebook.com/alligatorreefclub, alligatorreefclub.com. Located in a historic building in downtown Melbourne, the bar and restaurant opened in late January offering lunch, dinner, cocktails, weekend brunch and music.

Another Broken Egg, 705 Palm Bay Road, Suite 101, West Melbourne, 321-237-1436, anotherbrokenegg.com. The upscale breakfast, brunch and lunch chain opened its newest Florida location on Nov. 20.

Arby's, 4705 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, arbys.com. The fast food chain opened its latest Space Coast location on Oct. 31.

Ardella's Sandwiches & Such, 780 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Suite 102, 321-208-7577, ardellastogo.com/Merritt Island or facebook.com/ardellassandwichesandsuch. The family-owned business that specializes in hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, salads and flatbreads opened Feb. 7.

Area 142, 142 Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach, 321-474-3121, area142.com, The two-story bar, restaurant and event space across the street from the beach opened in January. In October, the owner partnered with Orlando-based Bar None Creations. Stay tuned for a new look and a new name in the coming year.

Asado Argentinian Steakhouse by the Grand Manor, 1450 Sarno Road, Melbourne, 321-425-4047, facebook.com/asadoofmelbourne. The steakhouse at the Grand Manor events facility features cocktails and music. It celebrated its grand opening on March 15.

Asian Time Asian Cuisine and Sushi Bar, 6365 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, 321-600-4839, asiantimesuntree.com. The restaurant opened a few weeks ago in the Suntree plaza where The Fresh Market is located.

BB Rad's Coastal BBQ, 1817 S. Washington Ave., Titusville, 321-567-4677, bbrads.com. The counter-service restaurant that serves Texas-style barbecue with a coastal twist opened June 17.

Banh Mi Saigon Baguette, 765 N. Wickham Road Unit 107 & 108, Melbourne, 321-421-7705, banhmisaigonbaguette1.com. The Vietnamese restaurant, offering banh mi sandwiches, pho, burgers and French croissants, opened in June.

Big Daddy J's 5 Great Things, 3850 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, 321-613-2405, on Facebook. The restaurant opened in February with biscuit bread, brisket-stuffed potatoes, carrot cake and full liquor.

Bravo Taco, 1250 Garden St., Titusville, 321-225-8445, bravotaco.net. The fast-casual taco restaurant was opened in late November by the owners of Third Culture Kitchen, Vine & Olive and MoonLight Drive-In.

Bro Juicy Seafood & Bar, 3826 Murrell Road, Rockledge, brojuicyseafood.com. The seafood restaurant offering boiled shrimp and crab, oysters and fried shrimp baskets opened in July.

BurgerRobs, 311 S. Washington Ave., Titusville, burgerrobshq.com. The popular food truck, turned brick-and-mortar fast-casual restaurant, opened in its new downtown location on Dec. 8.

Cadillac Cove, 1462 State Road A1A, Satellite Beach, 321-421-7080, facebook.com/CadillacCove1. The restaurant and entertainment venue formerly known as Whiskey Beach celebrated its grand opening as Cadillac Cove on July 28 after several weeks of soft opening.

Cazadores Mexican Restaurant and Bar, 630 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Incian Harbour Beach, 321-610-1867, cazadoresmexicanrestaurantandbar.com. The Mexican restaurant opened this fall in the former location of Senor Loco.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 4999 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, chipotle.com. The fast-casual chain opened it's newest Brevard location in late November.

Cocina Cafe, 1150 Malabar Road Unit 101, Palm Bay, 321-327-2707, cocinacafefl.com. Fans of the Cocina Cafe hot bars filled with tasty Latin and Caribbean fare in Thrifty Specialty Produce and Meats markets across Brevard now can visit the stand-alone restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as catering.

Country Cookin Diner, 2301 State Road 524, Cocoa, 321-633-4488, facebook.com/countrycookincocoa. The comfort food breakfast and lunch spot opened its newest location in September.

Delicias Conchita, 2447 N. Wickham Road, Suite 114, Melbourne, 321-366-9072, on Facebook. The ice cream shop and taco restaurant opened in September.

Dixie Belle's Grill And Bar, 2700 Harbortown Drive, Merritt Island, 321-338-7400, on Facebook, The restaurant, which also has a location in Orlando, opened in the Harbortown Marina on May 15 serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

El Coqui Sports Bar & Grill, 411 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, 321-483-4485, elcoquissportbar.godaddysites.com. The sports bar with Puerto Rican flair opened in early August. The original El Coqui is in Kissimmee.

El Mojito Restaurant, 901 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, 321-327-7692. The Cuban restaurant opened in early December and celebrated its grand opening with a holiday party on Dec. 22.

Ferreri's Pizza, 3589 Cheney Highway, Ttitusville, 321-848-4443, ferrerispizza.com. The restaurant opened Nov. 18 for dine-in, takeout and delivery.

First Watch, 1900 W. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, 321-977-5417, facebook.com/FWMelbourneSquare, firstwatch.com. After Red Robin at Melbourne Square closed last fall, it didn't take long for the breakfast and lunch chain with a seasonal menu to move in. The sign went up in mid-January, and the restaurant, Brevard's second First Watch, opened a few weeks later.

Flying Burro, 1180 S. Babcock St., Melbourne, 321-914-3075, on Facebook. The fast-casual Mexican restaurant opened in March.

Foxtail Coffee Co., 70 S. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, 321-613-3184, foxtailcoffee.com. The coffee company, which began in Winter Park, opened its third Brevard County location in February.

Garden Party, 2153 U.S. 1, Rockledge, 321-209-2240, gardenpartyfl.com. The cafe with a plant-based menu of sandwiches, baked goods and cold-pressed juice opened this spring at Rockledge Gardens

Genna Pizza Express, 7954 N. Wickham Road, Suite 117, Suntree, 321-462-4020, gennapizzaexpress.com. A little sister of Genna Pizza Co., a New York-style pizza parlor a few miles south in Melbourne, Genna Pizza Express opened in early August with an assortment of pizzas, heroes and salads.

Gelati di Roma, 229 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, 786-491-6868, facebook.com/gelati.diroma. The Italian artisan ice cream shop opened in March.

Grumbley's Pizza, 3241 Garden St., Titusville, 321-268-5999, facebook.com/grumbleyspizza. The pizza place opened in mid-November.

Grumpy's Biscuits, 1540 Highland Ave., Melbourne, 321-345-0894, grumpysbiscuits.com. Grumpy's owner got the recipe for his giant buttermilk biscuits from his grandmother. The food truck is open most mornings in front of the Eau Gallie Arts District building where Grumpy's soon will become a brick-and-mortar cafe.

Harvest Thyme Kitchen, 601 E. New Haven Ave., downtown Melbourne, 321-327-3577, harvestthymekitchen.com. The counter-service breakfast and lunch spot with a scratch menu (including biscuits and gravy flights!) opened in early February in a space previously occupied by Grey Belly's.

Hibachi Buffet, 735 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, 321-349-0358, hibachibuffetfl.com. The restaurant with an extensive buffet of Chinese, Japanese and sushi dishes, as well as a hibachi grill, opened this summer.

Indian River Bar & Grill, 5370 N. U.S. 1, Cocoa, 321-305-5440, indianriverbarandgrill.com. The waterfront restaurant, formerly home to Old Florida Grill & Oyster Bar, celebrated its grand opening May 17.

KFC, 4670 South St., Titusville, 321-267-0528, kfc.com. The fried chicken chain opened its North Brevard restaurant on March 6.

King's Grill, 400 Barton Blvd., Rockledge, 321-305-4252, on Facebook. The family-friendly sports bar hosted a pre-opening Super Bowl party to watch owner Del Johnson's son play in the big game. CJ Gardner-Johnson and the Philadelphia Eagles may not have won the game, but Johnson is banking on success with the new restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Kolache Bar, 213 Crockett Blvd., Merritt Island, 832-880-1400, on Facebook. The cafe serving kolaches with savory or sweet fillings opened this fall.

The Mad Utter, 2153 U.S. 1, Rockledge, facebook.com/TheMadUtter. The downtown Titusville ice cream shop opened a satellite location at Rockledge Gardens, offering ice cream, coffee and liege waffles.

Las Monarcas Mexican Restaurant, 1390 State Road A1A, Satellite Beach, 321-610-8856, facebook.com/LasMonarcasMx. The family-owned Mexican restaurant opened in early March.

Ludz Foodie Bar & Grill/Mattie's Bakery, 525 Glen Cheek Drive, Cape Canaveral, 321-307-7500, facebook.com/LudzBBQ, mattiesdd.com. It's a seafood and smokehouse at Port Canaveral. It's a bakery with over-the-top cupcakes and desserts. It's both, and it opened in January.

Marina Bay Boutique, 217 King St., Cocoa Village, 321-482-4912, facebook.com/marinabayboutiquecocoa. The Cocoa Village boutique with clothing, jewelry and accessories added food to its menu in May with the Seafoam Cafe, offering a selection of sandwiches, salads, tacos and flatbreads.

Marmalade Restaurant, 1256 U.S. 1, Rockledge. 321-631-9806. Formerly TJ's, the breakfast and lunch restaurant changed names and began getting a makeover in July.

Master Homemade Donuts, 1907 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, 207-331-6832, masterhomemadedonuts.com. The doughnut shop opened next to the Mobil gas station in April with a variety of doughnuts, including mochi doughnuts.

The owners of Merritt Island Pancake House and My Island Pancake House, with locations in Rockledge and Melbourne, ventured into barbecue with a restaurant that opened in late November in the location formerly occupied by Corky Bell's and Woody's Bar-B-Q.

Osuki Sushi, 924 E. New Heaven Ave., Melbourne. 321- 802-3228, osuki888.com. The Japanese restaurant with all-you-can-eat sushi opened in late July in downtown Melbourne in what was formerly a German beer garden.

Oui Bake, 1431 Highland Ave., Melbourne, 727-252-8897 facebook.com/ouibakefl. The bakery, which offers gluten-free and vegan as well as traditional baked goods, opened in October in the Eau Gallie Arts District.

Pockets & Putters, 575 Barton Blvd., Rockledge, 321-305-5182, facebook.com/pocketsandputters. The entertainment venue that features multiple pool tables and a golf simulator opened in March. Beer and wine are served.

Port St. John Lunchbox,  5601 U.S. 1, Cocoa, 321-305-5156. The restaurant opened in February in the former digs of Jimmies U.S. 1, with a similar menu of breakfast and lunch favorites.

Rich Island, 2137 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, 321-305-5804, facebook.com/RichIslandRestaurant. The casual restaurant opened this spring with rave reviews for its creative burgers.

Route 66 Nutrition, 729 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, 321-403-3448, on Facebook. The health food restaurant with a retro vibe opened in July.

Rush Bowls, 5380 Stadium Parkway, Viera, 321-209-0475, rushbowls.com. The Colorado-based fast-casual restaurant with a menu of smoothies and blended fruit/veggie bowls opened Dec. 2.

Salty Bagel and Grill, 7640 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, 321-622-4123, saltybagel.co. The beachside bagel shop with restaurants in Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach opened a third location in Melbourne's Suntree area on May.

Sassy Spoon Restaurant & Catering, 7900 N. Atlantic Ave., Cape Canaveral, 321-613-3025 or visit sassyspoonfl.com. The atmosphere is casual, with an emphasis on takeout, but the food is worthy of fine dining with a fusion of cuisines from around the world.

7 Brew, 5450 Murrell Road, Viera, 7brew.com. The drive-through coffee stand, which originated in Arkansas, opened in January. Its first Space Coast location opened in December 2022 in downtown Melbourne. Plans are in the works for several more in the area in the coming months.

Shoyu Hibachi Express & Poke Bowl, 2005 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, 321-613-3216, shoyucocoabeach.com. The take-out hibachi and poke bowl restaurant opened in April.

Stoner's Pizza Joint, 801 Dixon Blvd., Cocoa, 321-349-0000, facebook.com/COCOASTONERS, stonerspizzajoint.com. The delivery and takeout-focused pizza franchise opened its Cocoa location in late November with catchphrases like "get baked" and "legalize marinara."

The Soup Shop, 145 Palm Bay Road NE, West Melbourne, 321-327-4508, facebook.com/thesoupshop. The soup shop and cafe with locations at Post Commons in Melbourne and Eastern Florida State College's Melbourne Campus, opened a third location on Oct. 15.

Thai 4 You, 3824 Murrell Road, Rockledge, 321-433-2388, thai4youthairestaurant.com. The Thai restaurant opened Oct. 9.

Too a Tea of Boba, 3212 Lake Washington Road, Melbourne, 321-600-4966, tooateaofboba.godaddysites.com. The menu at the organic, fair trade tea and coffee shop,, which opened in early March, also includes salads, wraps and smoothies.

Urban Prime Restaurant + Marketplace, 2435 Metfield Drive, Viera, 321-499-1188, urbanprimefoods.com. The upscale restaurant and gourmet marketplace created by chef Ercan Ekinci opened in October.

Urban Tea, 1910 State Road A1A, Indian Harbour Beach, 321-504-8179, urbanteaihb.com. The cafe, which is owned by Satellite High grads, opened in August serving boba tea, ice cream, acai bowls and energy spritzers.

VenPaca Cafe, 2520 S. Washington Av., Unit 100, Titusville, 321-567-4227, on Facebook. The Latin American cafe specializing in breakfast, brunch, pastries and specialty coffees, opened Aug. 15 in Titus Landing.

Wawa, 2965 Viera Boulevard, Viera, wawa.com. Wawa Sizzlis, coffee, milkshakes, oh, and gas, are now available in Viera. Brevard's latest Wawa opened March 16.

Whisk & Grind, 410 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, 321-785-3033, whiskandgrind.com. The breakfast and lunch spot that opened to rave reviews last year on Merritt Island opened a second location May 20 in Cocoa Beach. Whisk & Grind also features a drive-through Peet's Coffee Bar.

Wonder Waffel, 2263 W. New Haven Ave., West Melbourne, 321-408-1915, wonderwaffel.de, facebook.com/WonderWaffelMelbourneFlorida. Originated in Germany, Wonder Waffel serves crispy waffles filled with fruit, chocolate and other flavors, as well as shakes and coffee. It opened in mid-December.
