“Fauda” star Lior Raz posted a video of himself ducking from Hamas rockets after attempting a real-life rescue mission in Israel.

Raz, who has also appeared in “The Crowded Room” and Michael Bay’s “6 Underground,” said he had joined volunteers to try and rescue families from the Israeli town of Sderot, which has been hammered by Hamas bombs since the terrorist group’s surprise siege on Saturday morning.

“I headed down south to join hundreds of brave ‘brothers in arms’ volunteers who worked tirelessly to assist the population in the south of Israel,” Raz wrote in the caption accompanying the video. “We were sent to the bombarded town of Sderot to extract two families. No fear!”

In the video Raz can be seen scrambling to duck behind a wall alongside a fellow volunteer as rockets explode overhead.

Other well-known Israeli faces have also joined the battle on the ground, including former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett who was seen joining a reserve platoon clad in military uniform.

Israel has been devastated since Iran-funded terror group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israeli citizens over the weekend. Saturday, which was Shabbat and also the High Holiday of Shemini Atzeret, saw Palestinian militants slaughter hundreds of Israelis at a music festival as well as murdering others in their homes and taking still more hostage. Hamas has also been raining down bombs on Israel almost continuously since Saturday morning.

Current estimates suggest 800 civilians, including elderly and children, were murdered on Saturday with thousands more hospitalized. At least 150 people are estimated to currently be held hostage in Gaza.
