Fauda Season 5 Release Date Rumors: When Is It Coming Out?

Fauda is an Israeli military action thriller series created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff. Set against the backdrop of the Israel-Palestine conflict, the Yes Oh show revolves around Doron Kavillio, a former member of the special forces, and his unit, as they take on various threats to their national security. The narrative unfolds from the Israeli perspective, but much care has been taken to denote how complicated the situation is in that region of the world.

Season 1 premiered on Yes Oh on February 15, 2015. Netflix billed the show as a Netflix original program and began streaming the first season on December 2, 2016. Is there a Fauda Season 5 release date?

Fauda Season 5’s release date could arrive by 2026 at the earliest.

The fourth season ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the fates of several important characters, including Doron, in question, so a fifth season of the series was always a possibility. In November 2022, Raz announced at a charity event for Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom, held at the Island Grill in London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, that he was open to making more seasons but wanted to continue the story in the cinematic format.

“We are talking about a movie very seriously,” the actor-screenwriter said. “As to whether there will be more seasons, we don’t know yet. We are open to it,” he added.

In September 2023, Deadline reported citing Israeli media sources that Ilan Sigal, Yes CEO, took to the stage at an event with Avi Issacharoff and revealed that the fifth season of Fauda was in development. However, since then, a war has broken out in that region, and some of the actors from the series have rejoined the IDF. It’s probably safe to assume that until the situation subsides, the production will not start again. Optimistically, season 5 can be released on Yes Oh in 2025, and given the pattern set with the previous seasons, it will probably come out on Netflix in 2026 at the earliest.
