But there’s one problem, Larry is clumsy and still manages to his status as a top performer. He lives with his wife, Kate, their mischievous daughter Sierra, and their son Hunter who always lands in some kind of funny predicament.
With each episode, the kid’s mischief causes Larry to find himself in a ditch. Although, the family dynamics provide much of the show’s humor Larry often causes chaos due to his bumbling nature. On the whole, the series is a funny watch-with-the-whole-family kind of drama. It offers a blend of humor ranging from slapstick to more mature jokes, reflecting its attempt to bridge family and adult animation.
Father of the Pride ensemble has the voice of John Goodman as Larry, the middle-aged white lion, Cheryl Hines as the voice of Kate, Sierra voiced by Danielle Harris and Daryl Sabara as the voice of Hunter.
