Father and Son Get Christmas Surprise, 'AFV'-Style
Christmas is a time for counting your blessings, spreading peace and goodwill to your fellow man — and, of course, aiming a camera at your loved ones while you shock them with a huge, life-altering surprise. Such is the case in the very festive AFV clip above, in which a mom urges her husband and son — both decked out in adorable elf costumes, we might add — to open an “early Christmas present” from Santa.

Of course when they open the gifts — a red-and-white striped onesie for Dad, baby booties for the son — it seems that Pop gets it right away, while the giggly boy thinks this is all a silly joke by Mom. It’s not until Mom prompts her son to list off what he wanted for Christmas (”Um, a few games? Two fake guns?”) and reminds him that he also wanted something that starts with a b — as in “brother” — that the little elf realizes what his present really is. His reaction, though slow to arrive, is definitely adorable. Merry Christmas, everyone!
