Fat Joe And Famous Friends Tear Down The Apollo: Ashanti, Lil Kim, And More

Fat Joe has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem on several occasions, perhaps none bigger than Tuesday’s (April 2) “Fat Joe And Friends” showcase, where the Bronx native brought out Hip-Hop mainstays, R&B faves and more than a few legends.

Friends of the “All The Way Up” rapper who blessed the stage included Lil Kim, Ashanti, Remy Ma, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Havoc, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, The LOX, and more, with NYC radio legend Angie Martinez also blessing the mic. Even more stars were found enjoying the communal vibes backstage, including Mary J. Blige, Carmelo Anthony, Keith Sweat, Papoose, Melle Mel, and others.

The night came together courtesy of D’USSE to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Terror Squad hit “Lean Back.” Check out snaps from the evening below.
