Farrah Abraham Visits Baby Daddy's Grave, Gets Ripped Apart By Instagram

Farrah Abraham has made visiting baby daddy Derek Underwood's grave a very public matter. The former "Teen Mom OG" star appeared on daughter Sophia's Instagram this weekend as the two visited Sophia's father's resting place.

The post opened with a video of 28-year-old Farrah and 10-year-old Sophia crouching by Derek's grave in the pouring rain. Farrah was holding an umbrella over her head and appearing to really appreciate the visit.

Also included was footage of Farrah and Sophia prepping to visit the cemetery, with Farrah and her daughter seen holding balloons and flowers. Sophia left a caption mentioning her gratitude towards her mom, alongside honoring her dad's passing.

Instagram Sends Love, But Some Fans Find Room For Shade

Sophia's post racked up a fair few comments for an account with only 633,000 followers – over 168 comments were left in the space of 16 hours.

For the most part, fans of this 10-year-old offered support.

"So important to keep all the stories about her dad alive you're a great mom 👏❤️😊," one user wrote.

"That's really nice," another added, with many more comments sending good wishes.

Less-kind comments did come in, though.

"Had daddy Derek been alive. Farrah would of made his life a living hell," a fan harshly wrote.

'Is Nothing Sacred?': More Shade

A fan suggesting that the visit was too public found their comment upvoted by over 40 users.

"This should have been a private moment.. no need for video or cameras," they wrote.

"I have to agree, I believe Farrah does this more for attention than sorrow!!" a fan replied.

A separate comment seemed to suggest the same concept – namely, that Farrah was capitalizing on the passing of her baby daddy for public exposure, although it's worth considering that this likely wasn't the case.

"What’s up with this daddy Derek crap ! Just teach her to say dad . FYI it’s all for show," they wrote, referring to how Farrah had called Derek in the video.

Farrah has yet to share the visit to her own Instagram account. The Nebraska native did, however, comment on Sophia's post.

"Love you Sophia. You're loved and so proud of you and grateful we get to visit Daddy Derek. Daddy Derek watches over you & loves you I see it in all you do every day."

Derek died tragically in a car accident before Sophia was born. This left Farrah to complete her pregnancy and the raising of Sophia as a single mother.

Farrah exited the MTV franchise that made her so famous earlier this year, maintaining that she wasn't fired – Farrah claimed her departure to be a choice, choosing her career in the adult entertainment industry.

Since leaving "Teen Mom OG," Farrah has remained in the public eye, although she frequently makes headlines for being slammed. Farrah has launched a jewelry collection, attended the Venice Film Festival, and her life as a mother continues via her social media.

Farrah isn't the only "Teen Mom" member to have left the franchise this year. "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is also an ex-member, following the dog-shooting scandal with estranged husband David Eason.
