Fargo Sneak Peek: Juno Temple Sports a Minnesota Accent, Carries a Stun Gun in First Season 5 Footage — Watch

Ted Lasso fans, prepare yourselves: Juno Temple is going Minnesota nice.

The Emmy-nominated actress is front and center in the first teaser for Season 5 of FX’s Fargo, with Temple trading her British accent for a Midwestern “oh yah, you betcha” twang. In the teaser — which you can watch above — Temple’s homemaker character Dot Lyon is puttering around the kitchen, stirring sauce and chatting with a friend on the phone. But when she hears the doorbell ring, she quickly hangs up and arms herself with a pistol (!), a stun gun (!!) and a baseball bat with nails in it (!!!) before answering the door. She does stop to taste her sauce first, though.

Season 5 of Fargo — premiering Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 10/9c — stars Temple as Dot, a seemingly harmless Midwestern housewife who is “suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind,” per the official description. Joining her in the cast are Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Hunters), Dave Foley (The Kids in the Hall), Lamorne Morris (New Girl) and Richa Moorjani (Never Have I Ever), among others.
