‘Fargo’ installment five trailer: Meet Juno Temple’s ‘tiger,’ Jon Hamm’s ‘enforcer’ [WATCH]
After a near three-year hiatus, “Fargo” will return with its highly-anticipated fifth installment with Juno Temple’s “wolf in sheep’s clothing” at the heart of the story. The just-released official trailer for the FX anthology begins with the warning that the three-time Emmy nominee’s character “isn’t who she says she is.” Indeed, our first glimpse of her Dorothy Lyon shows her boobytrapping her house to thwart two robbers using an assortment of household wares. Watch the full trailer above.
Dorothy’s “tiger” personality has her running afoul of a tantalizing cast of characters played by an extraordinary ensemble of actors. Emmy winner Jon Hamm joins Noah Hawley’s universe as a sheriff who promises, “There is no one on God’s green earth who is a greater enforcer of the laws of this land than Roy Tillman.” Also along for the ride are characters Gator, played by Joe Keery, and two deputies (Richa Moorjani and Lamorne Morris).

Seemingly on Dorothy’s side are her big-wig mother-in-law (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and her attorney, played by Dave Foley. Foley’s character Danish Graves promises to protect Dorothy, threatening law enforcement that “we’ve got our own reality.” In true “Fargo” fashion, it appears that nothing about ordinary life in the fifth installment is as it seems.
Across its four prior years and a decade on television, “Fargo” has racked up a large number of trophies, including Emmy wins for Best Miniseries, Directing for a Miniseries, and 11 acting nominations. Two of its performers – Billy Bob Thornton for the first year and Ewan McGregor for the third – have taken home Golden Globes.
The fifth installment begins on FX – and streams on FX on Hulu – beginning November 21.
