‘Fantasy Island’ Welcomes Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley & Austin Stowell

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2, The Walking Dead, HBO’s True Detective Season 3), Charlotte McKinney (Flatliners, Baywatch remake), Parisa Fitz-Henley (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones), and Austin Stowell (Catch 22, Battle of the Sexes) are headed to Fantasy Island. The Sony Pictures/ Blumhouse film adaptation of the popular ABC series is set to begin production next week in Fiji.

The four join Michael Pena, who will star as Mr. Roarke, as well as previously announced co-stars Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, and Ryan Hansen.

Jeff Wadlow, the director and co-writer behind Blumhouse’s Truth Or Dare pic, is helming the film, which is co-financed by Blumhouse and Sony and will be released February 28, 2020 via Sony. Wadlow also wrote the screenplay with his Truth Or Dare scribes Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. Plot details have not been released.

Jason Blum is producing, while Wadlow will serve as executive producer with Blumhouse’s Couper Samuelson and Jeanette Volturno.

Rooker is repped by Gersh and LINK Entertainment; McKinney by UTA and Underground; Fitz-Henley by APA and Management 360 ; Stowell by CAA and Fourward.
