DALTON DEL DON: I'm Dalton Del Don from Yahoo Sports talking fantasy hoops pickup. And our first waiver wire recommendation is Jae'Sean Tate on the Rockets, who's become a must-add in all fantasy leagues as he continues to start on a depleted Houston team dealing with a bunch of injuries.

The undrafted rookie has been playing well for a while now, ranking as a top 50 fantasy player over the last two weeks and even top 25 over the last week. He's averaging nearly 35 minutes over the last three games and should remain a big part of the team with John Wall and Victor Oladipo both so injury prone. So Tate could easily keep providing nice fantasy value over the rest of the season.

Next up is Robert Williams on the Celtics. He remains a frustrating fantasy player who doesn't offer much both in scoring and consistency. But if you're searching for a big man with upside in cat leagues, here's your option on the waiver wire. Williams remains locked in a timeshare in Boston's front court, but he's averaged a steal in nearly a block and a half this season anyway.

And he'd lead the league in field goal percentage by a mile if he qualified. In fact, Time Lord is the number seven fantasy player per 36 minutes this season, and Brad Stevens recently said he wanted the center's playing time to peak later in the year. So Williams's fantasy value could see a nice boost down the stretch.

And finally, our last pickup recommendation is Derrick Jones Jr. on the Trailblazers, who, like Williams, is a much better target and cat leagues as a sneaky player who doesn't score much but is a big contributor in defensive stats. Jones has multiple slots in four straight contests and is averaging the second most blocks per game among guards this season.

Jones also never turns the ball over, as he's actually been a top 40 fantasy player in 9-cat leagues over the last week, yet he remains available in nearly 80% of Yahoo leagues.
