"I dont know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but adele looked better with some weight on her," one person wrote.

"Sorry but sorry but Adele's face was prettier when she was a little heavier. This is what gastric bypass surgery does to you when you lose weight very fast," another said.

A source told Us Weekly that she has been seriously focused on working out lately.

"She does 60-minute sessions that include cardio, circuit training and Pilates," the source said, adding that Adele exercises three times a week. "She’s found a routine that’s working for her and is enjoying it more."

"She really wants to be healthy and set a good example for her son," the source said. "She’s more focused on feeling good and the health benefits than the weight loss. Adele never cared about or liked working out."

"She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year," a source told PEOPLE. "She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans."

"She is so busy, but her life is better-rounded than it was before," another source said. "She is very fulfilled being an artist. New music is still a big deal for her, and she feels alive and happy."

Plenty of other fans came to Adele's defense over the weight issues.

"Y’all that loved to hate on Adele before because you didn’t like her size and now she lost weight and you’re also hating on her for being too thin can f--k right off," one said.

"i love how when adele was more on the heavier side, some of y’all fatshamed her and made jokes about her weight but now that she’s lost weight suddenly those same people wanna be doctors concerned about how skinny she is smh," another wrote.

"the debate about Adele’s weight honestly angers me on a whole new level - who are the public to judge on whether she is ‘too skinny’, ‘more attractive’ or why she’s lost weight? weight is such a personal thing and it’s nobody’s fkin business to be publicly commenting," a third wrote.
