Fans on Twitter React to Gabrielle Union's 'AGT' Network Meeting

Ever since Gabrielle Union was fired from 'America's Got Talent' and revealed that she was discriminated against during the show, fans have been eagerly awaiting her meeting with NBC and Simon Cowell.

The investigation was sparked when Gabrielle Union spoke out about being called "difficult" and that her hairstyles were "too black" for the 'America's Got Talent' audience. Union's husband even pointed out that Gabrielle and Julianne Hough shouldn't have been fired because they have a larger social media following on a show that uses social media is its foundation.

Fans also pointed out that only the female judges are rotated out while male judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandell have been on the show since its debut.

The network seems to be taking Union's accusations seriously.

“The initial conversation was candid and productive,” the network said in a statement following the meeting according to Pop Culture. “While there will be a further investigation to get a deeper understanding of the facts, we are working with Gabrielle to come to a positive resolution."

After the meeting, it's clear that Simon Cowell's and 'AGT's fate is in NBC's hands.

“The ball is in NBC’s court to see if they can get Cowell to agree to make some changes to the way things are done on the show," an insider revealed to Deadline.

“We had a lengthy 5-hour, and what I thought to be, productive meeting yesterday. I was able to, again, express my unfiltered truth. I led with transparency and my desire and hope for real change," Union tweeted about the meeting.

Fans that have followed the bands that Simon Cowell has represented from 'America's Got Talent' share that this isn't the first time Simon Cowell has mistreated talent. With all of the evidence stacked up against Cowell, things aren't looking too good for him.
