Fans Think Gwyneth Paltrow's Daughter Apple Martin Looks Like This Classic Hollywood Star

Gwyneth Paltrow headed down to Mexico for a tropical beach vacation over the Christmas holiday where she’s spending time with kids Apple, 19, and Moses Martin, 17, from her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The 51-year-old Goop founder was lucky enough to get photo approval from her children to share the special moments from their time on vacation — and Apple is being compared to this stunning Hollywood actress.

Normally, Apple hears that she’s her mom’s mini-me since they both share similar features with their blonde hair and sweet smiles. However, fans are jumping into the comments of Paltrow’s Instagram carousel to compliment the Vanderbilt University student for looking like French actress Brigitte Bardot. The now-89-year-old star retired from the entertainment industry in 1973, but she’s considered a major popular culture icon for ushering in the sexual revolution in the 1960s.

The snapshot that has everyone talking is just of Apple bathed in a gorgeous glow of light (third photo in the carousel). With her hair pinned up just like the star, Apple gave a soulful gaze to the camera — she looks stunning and peaceful in the moment as her beach-y waves frame her face. Even Paltrow’s pal, Katie Perry, agreed, chiming in the comments, “Apple is giving Brigitte Bardot ♥️.” We have to agree, there is definitely a resemblance in the image — she could play Bardot in a biopic about her life. Hollywood will probably be calling on her soon for this starring turn.

Paltrow had nothing but praise for her oldest child in an interview with Bustle this fall. “She’s more girly than I am. She’s really good at doing makeup and loves to do it,” she gushed. “It’s great because she’s plugged in to the cool stuff, and not the rubbish-y, depressing part of our culture.” But the qualities about her daughter that delight mom the most is the fact that Apple is “an eminently nice person, and her values are in the right place.” That’s the best compliment any parent is proud to share.
