Need proof? Braxton took home her very first American Music Award back in 1994, an accomplishment that was well deserved when viewing her career up to this point in retrospect. However, she hasn't performed at the awards ceremony since eighteen years ago in 2001. So, according to Celebrity Insider, Braxton decided to commemorate her first AMA win with a surprise performance of one of her biggest and well-known hits, a smooth ballad about lost love titled 'Un-Break My Heart'. And she absolutely KILLED it.

After Braxton snatched wigs and reminded everyone exactly why she is a legend Twitter began to go off with their praise and appreciation. And it wasn't just relegated to fans. A few celebrities added their two cents as well. Celebrity Insider reports that many of Braxton's fans could not get enough of the soulful performance.

Others echoed the same sentiments with one user on Twitter writing "Okay can we talk about Toni Braxton's performance at the #AMAs. Boy she is so radiant as ever and that is one classy performance, I gotta say this is one of the best highlight of #AMAs2019" with another adding "This Toni Braxton performance is one that you can refer to as "shutting it down." not that other ish all these blogs and sites are referring to. #AMAs. THIS IS SANGING."

Even a few fellow celebrities offered Braxton props with Kardashian clan matriarch Kris Jenner stating " “AMAZING performance and STUNNING dress !!!!! ICON 👏🏼👏🏼🙏🙏❤️❤️🥰😍💋”. However, nobody could have been prouder than Braxton's vocal, outspoken sister Tamar Braxton who let everyone know exactly how amazed and proud she was by letting everyone know "My blood sister is #Tonibraxton b---h!! Periodt"Braxton slayed the stage like the true performer she is. But it's probably safest to say that as much as she enjoyed killing the performance she was happiest when she got a moment to sit down and chill.
