Fans Are Slamming Kim Kardashian For Setting ‘Unrealistic’ Beauty Standards Once Again In Latest Instagram Post With ‘Disturbing’ Image

Kim Kardashian has once again come under fire for setting unrealistic body standards, just a few days after causing a stir with her Met Gala red carpet look.

If you’ll recall, the 43-year-old Skims founder was slammed for her Met Gala look, as she wore a seemingly rib-crushing corset with her metallic Margiela by John Galliano dress to make her waist look impossibly thin.

One X user wrote at the time, “Unrealistic body expectations,” while another asked: “Why in the world would anyone think this looks good? She can’t even walk or breathe in it. Can we have normal beauty standards please?” A third messaged Kim directly, and said: “I wish you would understand the horrible precedent you set for women and girls in society. Truly, beauty standards are so warped because of the ‘aesthetic’ you continually portray with your distorted figure and facial fillers.”

Kim Kardashian's Controversial Margiela Look

Just a few days later, she modeled another controversial look; and it seemed to cause an even bigger stir online!

On Wednesday, May 8th, the mom-of-four shared a carousel of pictures with her 363M Instagram followers showing the steps she took to get into another controversial Margiela look. The look essentially consists of a nude turtleneck catsuit, with a leather corset worn on top to cinch Kim's waist.

Kim captioned her post: "Margiela Broken Doll." The head-scratching outfit was worn with over-the-knee socks, which were made to resemble skinned knees, and gloves to seemingly resemble black fingers. She finished the look off with black platform heels and a hat.

The comments section was predictably filled with people calling her out for setting "unrealistic" body standards once again with the impossibly tiny waist, while many others thought the whole look was "out of touch" and "disturbing."
