Fans React to Aoki Lee Simmons, 21, Kissing 65-Year-Old Restaurateur Vittorio Assaf

Fans of Aoki Lee Simmons shared strong reactions to newly-surfaced photos of the model kissing a man more than four decades her senior.

The daughter of model and fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons and Def Jam Records co-founder Russell Simmons recently shared photos posing on the beach in St. Barts and enjoying the turquoise water surrounding the Caribbean island while sporting a string bikini.

Though the 21-year-old model was alone in the photos she shared with fans, new images obtained by Page Six revealed that Vittorio Assaf, the 65-year-old founder of the Serafina Restaurant Group, accompanied her. In the photos, the two kissed on the beach as Aoki wore an olive green bandeau with matching string bikini bottoms and Assaf wore blue and white patterned swim trunks. Additional photos showed the model posing for Assaf as he held up his phone to capture her image.

Aoki and Assaf met during a vacation in St. Barts and “are spending time together and enjoying each others' company,” an unnamed source told People. Aoki also appeared to comment on the new photos published by Page Six in an Instagram Story that has since disappeared from her account.

“Errr well now I know why folks were calling me,” Aoki wrote in the Instagram Story, a screenshot of which Entertainment Tonight published online.

Some of Aoki’s fans began leaving comments about the photos on earlier pictures she had posted from St. Barts. In one trio of photos shared last week, Aoki captioned the images by writing, “I wish my friends would take pictures of me on vacation,” before adding that the shared images showed her “the second someone tries.”

“These pics look like they were taken by a senior citizen,” one person suggested after the photos with Assaf surfaced, to which another Instagram user responded that they would “have been disappointed if it was a TikTok bro.”

Other Instagram users left comments on another set of photos that showed Aoki posing on the beach. Aoki, who posted the images on Friday April 5, had removed the ability for fans to leave comments by Friday evening.

“Did your 65 yr old bf take these??” one fan wondered. Another Instagram user posed a challenge to their comment, writing in part, “And if [s]he did then what is it to you?”

One fan wrote that they hoped the photos of Aoki and Assaf together were for “a movie scene,” as another suggested that launching an OnlyFans account “sounds like a better option” than dating someone so many years older.

One person urged Aoki to “turn your comments off” and apologized for all of the negativity that has been aimed her way. She responded to the recommendation, writing, “ehh I don’t have too. Weirdos gonna weirdo.”
