On Tuesday's episode of the ABC game show, Pat Sajak accepted an answer to a puzzle that has fans furious with the host.

Contestant Nadine Cedro of Toms River, N.J. solved a crossword puzzle. "fly, fingers, bean, and nuts", Cedro said, however, the answer was "fly, fingers, bean, and nut" -- without an 's'.

Despite Cedro technically not saying the answer correctly, Pat Sajak accepted the clue and Cedro won the round.

Fans of the show immediately took to social media to voice their frustrations over the answer.

"We re-round it 3 times because our whole family heard nutS. She shouldn't have won the round," one user wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

One fan even shared a photo of proof that Cedro said "nuts" with an 's' as closed captioning picked up the error in pronunciation.

Pat Sajak's Past Controversies On 'Wheel Of Fortune'

In 2021, contestant Charlene Rubush appeared on the holiday episode, where she made it to the final round and has 'What Are You Doing?' as the category. After the most common letters and Rubush's choices, almost all of the puzzle was revealed -- except the last word.

The contestant correctly identified almost all of the phrase, saying, “Choosing the right…” But, she wrongly said “card” at the end of the sentence. She then corrected it to "word" to end the sentence before the buzzer, however, she did not repeat the entire phrase, meaning she did not win. (Read more about that incident here.)

Fans of the show went wild on social media, even threatening to boycott the show if they didn't give her the Audi. “Well, we had a good run. I won’t watch the show anymore. That lady won the AUDI, she answered the phrase within the timeframe allowed. You have hidden rules, fake show. I’ll never watch again (unless she gets the AUDI ANNND the rule changes,” one person wrote.

Luckily, after the clip of the game show went viral, Audi reached out and still gave Rubush a brand-new car. “You’re a winner in our eyes, Charlene. Now, let’s get you a prize,” the company tweeted at the time, adding, “Time to #GiveHerTheQ3.”

"Wheel of Fortune" airs weekdays on ABC. Pat Sajak is set to retire at the end of the season, and Ryan Seacrest will take over as host.
