Fans Mourn Sudden Death Of George Michael's Sister On 3rd Anniversary Of Singer's Death
George Michael's family is mourning once again, after the singer's sister was found dead, exactly 3 years to the day after he passed away.
On Christma day, which is the anniversary of the pop star's death, his younger sister Melanie Panayiotou was found dead.
The 55-year-old was found in her home after police were called to the residence. Melanie lived in London, and at this time the death does not seem suspicious.

A rep for the family confirmed the news, saying, "We can confirm that very tragically Melanie has passed away suddenly. We would simply ask that the family's privacy be respected at this very sad time."
Tragically, it was exactly 3 years ago, the "Wham!" singer was found dead inside his England home. The coroner determined the 53-year-old singer died of natural causes. According to the autopsy report, he was suffering from a "dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis" and "fatty liver."
The singer's rep issued a statement at the time, saying, "George Michael's family would like to thank his fans across the world for their many messages of love and support. We ask that the family's wish for privacy be respected so that they can continue to live their lives privately, away from any media intrusion."
Fans Mourn Both Of There Deaths
Fans of the singer are crushed about the news of his sister's death and are sending messages of support on social media.
"Rest in peace George Michaels sister x so very sad on Christmas Day too x heart goes out to their family x 💔 hope your together now xx," a fan wrote. Another added, "George Michaels sister Melanie died exactly 3 years after him and i only just found out? brb fully sobbing."

A few were shocked to here her death fell on the same days as GM, "No way George Michaels sister found dead after he’s third year anniversary my thoughts and prayers go to the Michael family at difficult time."
Lastly, several friends of George's sister posted messages on Twitter, "Melanie Panayiotou died 3 years to the day after her brother's death in 2016. Melanie was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, she was my hairdresser in the 80's at Alan Soh's in Knightbridge very sad to hear, such a nice person."
