  • Ty Burrell played the beloved Phil Dunphy on the hit sitcom "Modern Family."

  • He's doing just fine, but fans worried when a framed picture of Burrell appeared at a cast reunion.

  • Initially-alarmed commenters expressed their relief that Burrell was alright on social media.

Everyone knows and loves Phil Dunphy, the goofy patriarch of the "Modern Family" sitcom.

If you're also a fan, you'll be thrilled to know that Ty Burrell, who played Dunphy for over 10 years, is doing just fine, despite his absence from a recent cast reunion.

During their reunion, the cast posted a group photo. Since Burrell couldn't make the meeting, they included him with a framed photo.

The photo, a large flower arrangement in front of the cast, and Burrell's absence inadvertently freaked out fans — who worried Burrell might have become sick or even died.

The fears were only compounded by a video of the framed photo in front of a fireplace, which included the other cast members saying, "We miss you Ty!"

Immediately, viewers flooded the comments, asking "Is Phil dead?" and "Wait where's Ty Burrell?"

They were all relieved to learn that the cast actually just missed Burrell, who was simply busy that evening.

A representative for Burrell confirmed he was fine and simply lives in a different state.

"the way i had a heart attack because i thought Phil wasnt with us anymore," said one commenter on X.

Many fans said they experienced moments of panic when they saw the video, and said the arrangement looked like "funeral flowers."

Reassured, the commenters sang the show's praises, and said they hoped the cast would be able to reunite more frequently.

"this show has made me laugh so much on the days I felt the most down," said a comment on the post.

Another commenter said the show still felt new every time they watched it.
