Fans Of 'The Masked Singer' Are Theorizing Over Who The Ladybug Could Be

The surreal musical competition The Masked Singer has been a surprise hit for FOX, with obsessive fans theorizing over who the latest celebrity could be behind the goofy costumes. The show has brought on everyone from Terry Bradshaw to Gladys Knight, and you just never know who will show up.
Who Is The Ladybug?
Each season, the show brings on 16 celebrities to compete, and according to host Nick Cannon, the second season's cast has LIVED: "140 films, 22 gold records, 20 platinum records, six multi-platinum records, 31 Billboard No. 1 singles, 19 Emmy wins, 10 GRAMMY wins, seven Super Bowl appearances, five Hall of Famers, 15 marriages, and eight divorces."
The latest question, though, is who is the mysterious Ladybug?
A Wild Theory
A wild theory has popped up on social media that the woman behind the bug is none other than Lady Gaga. The costume was revealed at the Emmy Awards on Sunday, leading someone to comment on the official Masked Singer Instagram "I wonder if revealing this costume at the Emmys isn’t a clue that whoever it is [is] an Emmy-winner." Lady Gaga was nominated three times, but she has never actually won.
Speculation went down on Facebook as well.
"Just a thought... could it be Lady Gaga. Because of both names have lady in the name. Might be a clue. There has to be a good reason she was introduced last."
"I’m just picking her [cause] I know she has a Ladybug tattoo and has [a] background in singing, so she’s my pick."
However, this theory seems to be rather far fetched. Lady Gaga won an Oscar earlier this year, so you would think that would have earned a mention in that list of accolades. Also, she just won an Oscar, so I think a reality competition might not be high on her to-do list lately.
