Fans Are Getting Excited to See Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman

Batman fans are getting pumped! Catwoman is an absolute staple to the Batman franchise, so the right casting is critical. Upon the news of Kravitz's casting, the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. DC Comics fans have been eager for a new, more improved Batman movie s, and Kravitz's casting has only enhanced their enthusiasm for the film.

Zoe is Getting Into Character

It's obvious that Kravitz is taking her role very seriously. After all, Catwoman is a popular Batman character, probably as much (sometimes even more) beloved as the Dark Knight himself. So Kravits is already starting to get into character. Until recently, Kravitz had been sporting long braids, but this week, Kravitz debuted a brand new pixie cut. Needless to say, fans were thrilled to see Kravitz starting to embody the iconic character. Everyone seems to be in agreement that Kravitz looks gorgeous and ready to film!

It's a Match!

Catwoman has been seen sporting numerous hairstyles over the decades, from dark to blonde and long to short. However, in many of the more recent portrayals of Catwoman (particularly in comics and cartoons), we've been seeing her with a much shorter haircut. So, Kravitz is right on the money with her new look. Plus having a shorter 'do makes a lot of sense. Whether you're stealing jewels or fighting bad guys alongside Batman, it's probably easier to rock a more practical hairstyle.

This Isn't Zoe's First Rodeo as Catwoman

Oddly enough, Zoe Kravitz is actually not a Catwoman first-timer. She's already had ample time to become acquainted with this character when she voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie back in 2017. A comedy movie, to be sure, but it's a great first start and a solid introduction to the character she'll be playing. Having had some prior experience with Catwoman, Kravitz has an excellent foundation for her new role, so she's definitely heading in the right direction.

The Catwoman Aura Is Strong With This One

After disappointing films like Batman vs. Superman and Justice League, fans are ready to see an all-new Batman movie with a fresh cast. Fans were already getting on-board with Robert Pattinson as the new Dark Knight, but the excitement was palpable when Kravitz was cast as Catwoman. If Kravitz's casting is any indication, it certainly looks like The Batman is gearing up to be an awesome film. And if it's not, at least it looks like we'll have a killer Catwoman.
