Fans Say '1000-lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Is 'Crushing it' in New, Unfiltered Swimsuit Photo

Tammy Slaton continues to "crush" her weight loss journey, and fans are thrilled to be here to cheer her on.

The 37-year-old appears to be on a girls' trip with her psychic friend Haley Michelle, who documented a trip to the grocery store before they hit the road on Tuesday, April 23.

After safely arriving at their hotel, the two hit the pool before turning in for the night, and Slaton is showing off her swimsuit bod in a new poolside pic uploaded to Instagram the same evening.

First, she posed next to the bathroom counter, wearing a navy t-shirt over her swimsuit with a complementary pop of bright red lipstick, and the snapshot was noticeably lacking her favorite filter.

Next, she and her travel companion sat on the edge of the pool with their legs submerged beneath the water, with Slaton clearly already having enjoyed a dip, as her hair fell in wet tangles and her makeup had been washed away.

She wore a dark blue swimming garment with shiny detailing, creating the appearance of mermaid scales that fell in a deep v and appeared to tie over her bust to form a small but cheeky cutout in the center.

Her fans showered her in support for her continued progress, with one writing, "You are CRUSHING it and such an inspiration. Slay queen! 🔥."

"LOOK AT YOU GIRL!!" wrote another. "YOU DID THAT👏🏻👏🏻."

"👏Your hard work and commitment is showing by how much you glow. ❤️," someone else observed, with another agreeing, "You look so good!! I’m so happy for you, you’ve come so far and put in so much work and it’s showing off every single day! ❤️."

But Slaton is also often on the receiving end of harsh criticism, this time at the hands of those insisting she needs her excess skin removed. Many jumped to her defense as the trolls flooded her comments, with one hoping for Slaton to "read all these beautiful comments that your fans have posted on here" and ignore those who would typically "upset" her.

"Some oh [sic] yall are never satisfied..." another replied. "yall trolled her and bullied her when she was struggling now that's she's lost weight and is happy now people are pressuring her to get plastic surgery..." Once she does, the commenter was sure that they'd find something else to harass her about.

"All of you saying 'oh she came a long way BUT now she needs sking [sic] removal surgery' Do you know the risks of a surgery?" someone else pointed out. "Her doctors knows [sic] better than all of us having opinions. You are amazing Tammy."

The reality star has dropped at least 440 lbs throughout her highly publicized weight-loss journey, which has been documented on five seasons of her TLC series. The final episode of the fifth season aired back in February, but the network has yet to announce any plans for season six, much to fans' disappointment.
