Fannin Family Singers reuniting for Catholic Charities Gala in De Pere this Thursday

HORTONVILLE, WI (WFRV) – The sun is setting over Outagamie County and a beautiful sound is coming from the Fannin household.

3 of the famous 11 siblings are back together and getting ready to perform with their mother Thursday at the Catholic Charities “Inspire to Act Gala.”

Local 5’s Michele McCormack who is serving as emcee got to sit in on a rehearsal.

It is the first public event for the singers since 2011 when their YouTube channel became a sensation and got them on network television.

“It was a great experience,” recalled sister Monica. “Out of comfort zone for sure. Lots of cameras lots of lights definitely out of our comfort zone.”

Some might assume a record contact beckoned, but something called them to remain here in Wisconsin where they call home.

“When we came home and our feet back on the ground, we went into our normal routines,” explained Monica. “That’s where we wanted to be.”

Mom Kate recognized her children’s uncanny ability to sing and harmonize and said she would cheer them on whatever they chose. With all of them now raising their own families, they come together to sing for weddings funerals, and charity.

“I think it’s something we’ve been given that we are meant to share,” said Kate. “So that’s what we do!”

Maybe not the Hollywood ending but one that certainly is Positively Wisconsin.

This is the 10th year for the fundraiser for Catholic Charities which serves people of all denominations.
