Calling all Friends fans: The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here. According to the beloved sitcom’s Instagram account, the Friends reunion episode has officially finished filming. “That’s a wrap!” yesterday’s post on social media said. “Could we BE anymore excited!? Friends: The Reunion is coming to @hbomax. #friendsreunion”

Of course, it’s been confirmed that the original cast—which includes actors Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc — are all coming back. In addition to the stars, recognizable props and iconic set pieces like the fountain from the TV show’s opening credits will also be returning, TMZ reports.

We're hoping the gang will even take a trip down memory lane to Monica’s hard-to-forget purple apartment, though nothing has been confirmed. While it’s hard to imagine the space any other way, the show’s producers weren’t exactly sold on the color at first. "Everybody was really anxious about it, until I painted the little model purple,” production designer John Shaffner previously told AD. "Color is really important in terms of establishing the show identity," he added. "When you switched to Friends, you saw that it was purple, and you stayed tuned.”

Currently, there’s no release date for the reunion show, but as mentioned, it’s slated to premiere on HBO Max. However, as Schwimmer, who played Ross, revealed, this won’t be an ordinary episode. ''I'll be David,” he shared. "Nothing is scripted and we are not in character. We are all ourselves, although there is one section of it that I don't want to give away, but we all read something."

Either way, cue the “I’ll Be There For You” theme song and let the nostalgia kick in.
