Famous chef makes history as first celebrity to win 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?'

Sunday night, chef David Chang attempted to become the first celebrity to win a million bucks for charity on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”. In order to win, however, he was gonna need a little help from his friends.

The final question was, “Although he and his wife never touched a light switch for fear of being shocked, who was the first president to have electricity in the White House?” The answer options were Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, Chester A. Arthur, and Andrew Johnson.

Chang used his “phone a friend” lifeline to ask for help from NFL analyst Mina Kimes. She guessed Benjamin Harrison, but she did not sound confident. Chang had enough faith in her that he went with that answer, which was correct.

Chang won $1 million for the Southern Smoke Foundation, which supplies emergency relief funds to food and beverage workers.
