A family-owned brewery is opening in north Scottsdale. What to know about Pinnacle Brewing

Family-owned Pinnacle Brewing Company is opening a new craft brewery in north Scottsdale in early 2024.

Located at the corner of Hayden Road and North 82nd Street, the brewery was named after Pinnacle Peak and, according to the website, is a reminder of the family's mindset of striving to reach their peak.

The brewery is being opened by Bob, Mary and their son Wyatt Wilson, a graduate of Olds College’s Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management program in Alberta, Canada. His experience includes stints at award-winning craft breweries like Dust Bowl Brewing Company in California and Monkless Belgian Ales in Oregon.

"Our classic styles honor the rich traditions of Czechia, Germany and Belgium, while our newer styles will be my interpretation based on what I’ve learned from several of the best brewers in the USA," Wyatt said in a press release.

The 4,300-square-foot space will include an indoor dining area, outdoor beer garden and a covered patio. The design uses glass, wood and steel to give it a mountain lodge feel reminiscent of Wyatt’s experiences in Canada and northern Colorado.

There will be 16 taps with the majority of them rotating through new styles.

Though the taproom will not offer food, they plan to host a variety of food trucks.

The taproom is slated to open in early 2024.
