“Family Karma” Stars Monica Vaswani and Rish Karam Are Engaged: 'We Found Our Way'

Karam shared that he was "so excited" for the "next chapter" of the couple's life together

Monica Vaswani and Rish Karam are engaged!

The Family Karma stars announced their happy news on Instagram Sunday and shared a series of sweet snaps from the proposal.

Revealing Karam, 29, popped the question on Nov. 11, Vaswani, 31, wrote, “We found our way. True love is learning, growing and never giving up. We were blessed to be surrounded by incredible friends & family who supported us each step of the way. Our hearts are so full and I’m over the moon to share our engagement with you 🤍.”

In the carousel of photos, Karam got down on one knee with a ring to Vaswani, who fittingly wore a white dress. Another pics was snapped as the couple celebrated Vaswani saying yes with a kiss and an embrace.

Karam also shared the same picture of himself proposing and penned a loving tribute to his new wife-to-be.

“I’m beyond blessed & grateful to call you my best friend, soulmate, & now MY FIANCÉ!” he wrote. “Your zest for life, beautiful smile, & pure heart are a few of the many reminders of why I’m so lucky to be doing life with you. I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives! Cheers to all of the adventures life has planned for us, love you baby girl 💍🍾.”

The pair received plenty of congratulatory messages from their costars in the comments section, with Amrit Kapai writing, “Yessss!!!! 😍😍😍 so happy for you two! Congrats! 🥂,” while Bali Chainani added, “I’m choreographing the dances!!!.”

Meanwhile, Vaswani's ex Brian Benni, who is currently starring in season 3 of Winter House, wrote, “Congratulations love y’all!! 😍😍.”

Monica’s father Raj Vaswani also shared his happiness at the news and added, “I am so happy for the both of you! My baby is engaged and I’m getting a son! May God shower you both with endless love and happiness! ❤️.”

During season 3 of Family Karma, Monica was hit with rumors that Karam had cheated, which is something he vehemently denied.

Season 3 also saw Monica admit she had hoped to already be engaged as Karam had promised to get down on one knee before she turned 30. “It was going to be before 30,” she said. “It just got pushed to 31.”

"To be honest, by 30 I thought that I would be starting this next chapter, be married, have children. So I’m at a loss. I’ve done everything the right way until now. I have the 9-to-5 job, I have the respect of my parents,” she continued in a confessional. “But what am I doing this all for? Maybe I do need to shake things up because this is the first time in my life where I feel like I don’t know where my life is potentially headed.”

Vaswani and Karam, who joined joined the cast of the Bravo show in season 2, were previously childhood sweethearts.

All three seasons of Family Karma can be streamed on Peacock. Earlier this month, NBCUniversal Entertainment Chairman Frances Berwick told Variety the series was currently "on pause" but "in my heart of hearts, I believe we will bring it back at some point."
