News broke Wednesday that Kanye “Ye” West hit yet another roadblock when, after being dropped by Adidas earlier this week, he arrived unannounced to Sketchers’ headquarters to court them for a new footwear deal. He was promptly shown out.

Ye “arrived unannounced and without invitation” at Skechers’ corporate headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California, the company said in a statement. “Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation,” Sketchers said, adding that they are “not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech.”

Jimmy Fallon, of course, took the incident as “Tonight Show” fodder and expressed disappointment that Ye and the footwear company couldn’t come to an agreement.

“That’s too bad, because if there’s one company that could help him ‘shape up,’ it’s Sketchers,” Fallon said, nodding to their famous line of shoes.

He also poked fun at Sketchers as being ill prepared for Ye’s visit.

“When Kanye showed up, the CEO said, ‘Call security,’ and his assistant was like, ‘This is Sketchers, we don’t have security!'” Fallon said.

But the Ye joke that got the biggest laugh of the segment was one exploring what company he may hit up next for footwear collaboration.

“I feel like pretty soon Kanye’s gonna hit up whoever makes those free paper sandals after you get a pedicure,” he said to audience applause.

Ye has been facing a week of mounting professional fallout over antisemitic remarks in which he made a threat to go “[def] con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE.” Forbes says the rapper-entrepreneur is down $1.5 billion, shrinking his net worth to $400 million. (Ye claimed that he “lost 2 billion dollars in one day” in a Thursday Instagram post.)
