The Fall Drummer Keiron Melling Brutally Assaulted

Melling was reportedly “beaten to a pulp” on a train out of Manchester last week

The Fall drummer Keiron Melling is recovering from head injuries after being brutally assaulted on a train from Manchester Victoria to Blackburn on Monday, March 27, as Fact points out. Melling, who has drummed in the Mark E. Smith-led band since 2006, was “beaten to a pulp” and found “lying in a pool of blood,” according to the Manchester Evening News. The band’s manager Ed Blaney has confirmed Melling’s injuries, but declined to comment further. Police have yet to make any arrests related to the attack.
