Fall Out Boy returns to Oklahoma in 2024: What you need to know about the OKC show

Two-time Grammy nominees Fall Out Boy are returning to Oklahoma City in 2024 as they extend their "So Much For (Tour) Dust" global trek into next year.

The multiplatinum-selling band announced an OKC show Thursday among the more than 20 U.S. concerts revealed on their "So Much For (2our) Dust" 2024 run, which will include fellow rockers Jimmy Eat World as special guests on all dates.

Presented by Live Nation, the "So Much For (2our) Dust" trek will launch Feb. 28 in Portland, Oregon, and travel coast to coast before ending April 6 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The OKC show is set for March 11 at Paycom Center, where Fall Out Boy previously performed on Sept. 22, 2018, and Oct. 26, 2007.

Along with Jimmy Eat World, Brooklyn, New York-based duo Daisy Grenade will open for Fall Out Boy at the OKC concert.

Fall Out Boy is touring in support of the new album 'So Much (For) Stardust'

Thursday's tour announcement follows the Aug. 6 conclusion of the initial North American leg for "So Much For (Tour) Dust," which kicked off June 21 with Fall Out Boy's sold-out hometown show at Chicago's Wrigley Field. The Chicago Sun-Times called it “the loudest concert Wrigley’s ever had."

The UK and European leg of "So Much For (Tour) Dust" kicks off Oct. 17 in Warsaw, Poland, and concludes Nov. 8 in Berlin, Germany, with multiple dates already sold out.

The pop-punk band — singer and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley — will continue performing worldwide this year with a recently announced Dec. 6 date in Bangkok, Thailand, and in multiple cities across Australia as part of the Dec. 1-3 Good Things Festival.

The globe-trotting trek is supporting Fall Out Boy's eighth studio album, "So Much (For) Stardust," which bowed as the top rock album upon its March 24 release on Fueled By Ramen/Elektra/DCD2 Records.

The band's first album in five years includes “Love From The Other Side," the chart-topping lead-off single; "Heartbreak Feels So Good," which was released along with a music video in which they purportedly try to kidnap Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo; and “The Pink Seashell,” featuring dialogue spoken by Oscar-nominated actor Ethan Hawke in the 1994 film "Reality Bites."

Fall Out Boy also released this summer an updated version of Billy Joel's history-chronicling 1989 hit "We Didn't Start the Fire," which drew mixed responses on social media.
