The post Fall Out Boy to Reissue Take This to Your Grave for 20th Anniversary appeared first on Consequence.
Fall Out Boy have announced plans to honor their debut album, Take This to Your Grave, with a 20th anniversary vinyl reissue. Arriving on December 15th via Fueled by Ramen, the limited-edition repressing will feature two previously-unreleased demos. Check out the tracklist below.
Take This to Your Grave originally debuted in May 2003, and has since become an integral entry in the canon of pop-punk thanks to tracks like the Platinum-certified “Grand Theft Autumn / Where Is Your Boy.”
Now, the band is paying homage to their first full-length effort with the reissue, which will allow fans to hear two “unfinished” demos for the first time: “Colorado Song” and “Jakus Song.” The standard reissue will be available on two vinyl colors: blue jay and black ice, the latter of which is an Amazon exclusive. Additionally, there will be a 5,000-copy run of a special edition translucent blue vinyl, which will come with a 36-page hardcover coffee table book. Pre-orders are ongoing.
Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy are on the road, currently finishing up their 2023 European run. Next spring, they’re set to return stateside for a joint tour with Jimmy Eat World, titled “So Much For (2our) Dust.” Those dates begin in February, and will stretch through early April. Check out the full list of Fall Out Boy’s upcoming dates, and grab your tickets here.
This past March, Fall Out Boy shared their eighth studio album, So Much (For) Stardust. In July, the band appeared on Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), giving the track “Electric Touch” a tasteful pop-punk treatment. The latest release from Fall Out Boy themselves is their “updated” version of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire.”
