Faith Hill posted a Yellowstone-themed birthday tribute to her husband and 1883 co-star, Tim McGraw, on Wednesday, his 57th birthday. A video posted along with Hill’s tribute shows McGraw in a Nerf battle with a friend outside his 1883 dressing room. “Thank GOD and Betty you were born 57 years ago this very day,” Hill began her tribute.

McGraw and Hill have been married since 1996 and share three daughters. The superstar country couple splits time between their home in Tennessee and their private island in the Bahamas.

“A rare glimpse into the life of a grown man living his inner young boy. I thought you would love this,” Hill wrote in the post’s caption. “I laughed so hard when I saw it. Tim’s team put this together and allowed me to use it…the perks of being Mrs. McGraw!”

The clip, intercut with scenes from Yellowstone prequel 1883, shows McGraw and an unidentified friend giddily pelting each other with Nerf darts as their amused entourage looks on. “You’re a good shot, Mr. Dutton,” McGraw’s pal says at one point, addressing the actor by his character’s name.

At the end of the duel, McGraw good-naturedly takes a Nerf dart to the head, laughing as he dramatically crumbles.

McGraw is currently embarking upon his Standing Room Only tour, for which Hill has been by his side every step of the way. She concluded her birthday tribute by honoring her husband’s formidable stage presence.

“It’s been fun seeing you all out on the road. Me as a fan, same as you, watching this man and his master class when it comes to electrifying the stage and knowing that only comes from the audience,” Hill enthused. “It is a sight to behold, truly.”

Earlier this month, it was announced that 1883 would not be getting a second season despite a successful initial series. The first season is currently streaming on Paramount+.
