The Flash is just a few days away from hitting theaters, and the film continues to be a controversial topic.
Promotion for the DC Comics flick has moved forward, despite all the troubling headlines surrounding its star Ezra Miller.
Over the past few years, Ezra has faced numerous accusations and a string of arrests, ranging from disorderly conduct to harassment and burglary.
They were also accused of grooming and abuse across various countries — and at one point even seemingly choked a fan.
In August, Ezra apologized for "past behavior" in a statement, explaining that they had gone through a "time of intense crisis" and were seeking treatment for "complex health issues."
Although Ezra apologized, a lot of DC fans have still been conflicted about whether or not they want to support the film by buying ticket.
And given all that's been going on, many were honestly surprised when Ezra showed up to the premiere in Los Angeles this week.
Throughout the evening, Ezra posed for photos, signed autographs, and even spoke in front of a packed crowd — during which they thanked Warner execs for their "grace and discernment and care in the context of my life."
Here's what Twitter had to say about Ezra's premiere appearance:
It is the definition of white privilege that Ezra Miller is walking the red carpet and not in jail. It's so disgusting that this movie is coming out after everything they have done. https://t.co/6qdF6PuP5Q

The fact that people are still celebrating Ezra Miller really disgusts me. The privilege shown here is out of this world. This is why I will never see another DC movie. I cannot in bring myself to support those who will support this. https://t.co/Wc4KcQLlqO
