EYTYS Plays With "Love and Poison" in SS23 Denim Campaign

Cult-loved Swedish label EYTYS is gearing up for the warmer days with a denim collection dubbed "Love and Poison."

Arriving just in time for the Spring/Summer 2023 season, the range is comprised of staple jeans, ranging from the baggy Benz style to the Titan silhouette. The former is offered in a variety of washes and colors, while additional standouts include the Orion jeans -- a mid-rise style with a black laminate finish for the illusion of leather.

Aside from the trousers, "Love and Poison" features graphic tees and tank tops, as well as new colorways of the Santos sneakers that are constructed with nappa leather and suede overlays.

The accompanying campaign, shot by Alyssa Kazew in Llano, Texas, pictures models Miles, Mary and Olivia depicting a story of a love triangle. "In the nothingness of Texas, they felt as if they were alone in the world. Mary suggested they play dress-up while waiting for the crew," the press release reads. "'You watch us change,' they said to Miles, who’d sat down in a chair. Making himself comfortable on the couch, he looked at the girls slowly undressing each other on the concrete floor in front of him. A buzzing phone in Mary’s pocket paused the performance. It was the producer texting that their flight had been canceled and they wouldn’t arrive until the next morning. Mary read the text out loud. Would the three of them mind staying the night at the house?"

While EYTYS is more widely known for its footwear that launched in 2013, the label began rolling out unisex ready-to-wear garments officially in 2019. Benz was one of its first denim styles introduced in 2017, taking inspiration from '90s jeans.
