Exclusive: Grimm Outlook For Jason Gedrick

Jason Gedrick‘s TV career has taken a Grimm turn: The Boomtown actor has landed a killer guest stint on NBC’s sophomore spooker, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Gedrick will play Craig Wendell, a murderer that Hank (Russell Hornsby) helped land on death row. But with only days until his sentence is carried out, his claim that his crime was in self defense against a pair of “monsters” begins to sound less and less like the rantings of a lunatic to the man that put him away.

Gedrick’s recent TV credits include Luck, Necessary Roughness and Desperate Housewives, though he is arguably best known for his roles on Boomtown and Murder One. He can next be seen playing the manager of a Miami-area gentlemen’s club that becomes linked to a high-profile murder case in the upcoming seventh season of Dexter.

Grimm resumes its second season this Friday at 9/8c. Gedrick’s episode will air later this fall.
