Exclusive: Craig Wayne Boyd, Vicci Martinez, Avery Wilson to Return to 'The Voice' This Tuesday

Last week there was a “family reunion” of sorts on The Voice, with the return of three of the show’s off-duty coaches. And this week, the comebacks continue. Yahoo Music’s Reality Rocks can exclusively reveal that several contestants, including reigning champ Craig Wayne Boyd and a fan favorite from the very first Voice season, are set to perform on Tuesday’s live results show.

Craig will play his new tune, “I’m Still Here,” while Vicci Martinez, the third-place contestant from Season 1, will be back to sing “Bad News Breaker,” the single off her new album, I Am Vicci Martinez, which comes out this week.

But perhaps the biggest surprise is Avery Wilson, who didn’t even make it past the Live Playoffs in his season, is performing Tuesday as well. Avery was a four-chair-turner and a frontrunner on Season 3, back when he was only 16 years old, until he lost to Cody Belew in an upset in the Knockout Rounds. Avery has since become a bona fide social media sensation — with more 1 million followers, 201,000 Instagram followers, and 5 million YouTube views — and now he’s signed to RCA Records, working with superstar producer Sean Garrett on his debut album. He’ll be singing his first single for RCA, “If I Have To,” this Tuesday.

Additionally, there will be one more surprise contestant returning this Tuesday, but you’ll have to watch tonight’s Voice episode for that announcement.
