A former teacher from Texas was arrested on allegations she sexually assaulted multiple boys, authorities said.

Jaden Charles, 25, was arrested and charged Tuesday with two counts of grooming and two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, authorities said, according to KIII 3 News, Kris 6 News, and the Alice Echo-News Journal.

Charles has since resigned from teaching at the Agua Dulce School District, according to KIII 3 News.

"We do have parents that were concerned and made some calls about their children being with a teacher,” Alice Police Department Chief Eden Garcia told KIII 3 News. “We do have video of the teacher with a student at one of the hotels.”

The Agua Dulce City Marshal's Office charged Charles with the aggravated sexual assault offenses after an investigation into vaping on campus, KIII3 News reports, citing authorities. The investigation allegedly found that Charles allegedly gave vapes to male students and sexually assaulted multiple males.

According to the Alice Echo-News Journal, Agua Dulce City Marshal Joe Martinez said these alleged incidents occurred prior to Charles working as a teacher with the district. The investigation remains ongoing, authorities say, and they are continuing to interview potential victims, the outlet reports.

Charles is being held in the Jim Wells County jail on $400,000 bond, the Alice Echo-News Journal reports.

It’s unclear if she has entered pleas to the charges or retained an attorney to speak on her behalf.
