Love is a many splendored thing. After over four years together — and one son, born last June — Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have officially tied the knot. PEOPLE reports that the former Fargo costars married over the weekend, at a "small wedding for family and close friends" that included a "lovely and joyful" outdoor ceremony.

The two stars met on the set of the television show Fargo in 2016, though they were both involved in other relationships at the time. Winstead ended her seven year marriage to husband Riley Stearns in 2017 and McGregor filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years, Eve Mavarkis, in 2018.

Along with starting a new life together as official husband and wife, Winstead and McGregor can celebrate something else they share in common: their respective upcoming Star Wars projects Obi Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka. McGregor returns to the titular role of Kenobi in the series premiering next month, while Winstead will join galaxy veteran Hayden Christensen and Rosario Dawson (who she previously worked with in 2007's Deathproof) in the series set to start filming this summer.

McGregor recently spoke to EW about returning to the character he first portrayed in 1999 when George Lucas cast the then-relatively unknown actor in The Phantom Menace, and how it felt to be forever linked to a franchise that had an impact on a specific generation.

"Now I meet the people who we made those films for, who were the kids of the time. And our Star Wars films are their Star Wars films," McGregor told EW. "In the way that Carrie Fisher and Alec Guinness and Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford's films were ours, we're theirs. And that's beautiful that they were important to the kids who we made them for. It's just so nice to finally get that wave of positivity about them."
