When is Season 4 of All American coming out?

Seasons 1 and 2 both aired early October in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Season 3 just finished on July 19, and all 19 episodes hit Netflix on July 27, just 8 days after the finale. The CW renewed the series for season 4 just three episodes into Season 3—much earlier than past seasons. The official release date for season 4 is October 25, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

As for the cord-cutters out there, expect the entire fourth season to be on Netflix sometime around spring 2022. That's when the season will probably finish premiering on The CW, if it's a similar number of episodes as previous seasons. Avoid any spoilers until then. It's also possible that if Season 4 airs at a similar time to Season 3, that it comes out in a similar Summer time in 2022.

Who’s in the cast?

The cast for next season hasn’t been announced, but the series regulars are likely to return. Season 3 cast additions Coach Montes (Alexandra Barreto) and Vanessa (Alondra Delgado) might also stick around with more new faces along the way. Nonetheless, the Season 4 cast has yet to be confirmed.

What we do know is that a spinoff of the series is in early development. All American: Homecoming will focus on Geffri Maya’s character, Simone Hicks, as she heads off to college, with the pilot becoming an episode of Season 3. If the spinoff follows through, it’s likely we could see Maya’s character fizzled out of the original All American series in Season 4.

It’s safe to say that we’ll probably end up seeing all the characters finish off their senior year of high school, prepare for college, and continue to stress about the future. Season 3 left us with unanswered questions, like is Coop alive after being shot? Who won the championship game? And will Coach Baker forgive Spencer and Jordan for training behind his back?

In the meantime, fans will be able to rewatch Season 3 as many times as they want on Netflix right now. But if Season 4 is anything like the first three, there’s definitely going to be a fair share of drama in the mix...but only time will tell. Stay tuned for the latest on Season 4 of All American.
