Lil Reese, real name Tavares Taylor was born on January 6, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois. The young rapper is 26-years-old.
He became a rapper when he dropped out of high school to pursue his music career. He started dropping music in 2010 and was even featured on Chief Keef's classic record, 'I Don't Like.' This caused people to start paying attention to him and become his fans.
Those who became his fans started listening to his music. One fan of his, 'No I.D' listened to him and helped him sign a record deal with Def Jam Records.
Back in November of 2012, he was featured on the Rick Ross mixtape, 'The Black Bar Mitzvah.' Other rappers featured included Drake and Juelz Santana who featured Reese on 'Bodies.' He also performed his remix of 'Us' which also had Drake featured in it.
In 2013, Reese dropped more music, another mixtape that included rappers such as Lil Dirk, Chief Keef, Wacka Flocka Flame, Wale, and Fredo Santan, who passed away.
Although Reese is no longer signed with Def Jam Records, he is still working with 3Hunna entertainment. You can find his music on his Youtube channel where he gets thousands, if not millions of views.
Lil Reese had a run-in with the cops. Back in May of 2010, Lil Reese had his first charge against him when he pleads guilty to charges from burglary. All he got out of it was two years of probation. However, once his probation was up, he was seen and caught on video assaulting a woman.
One year later, in 2013, he was arrested in auto theft charges by Chicago police. However, the charges were later dropped when Reese was able to prove that the car was his.
One month later, he was arrested again on violating his probation. However, since the most recent arrest, the rapper has kept a low profile, staying out of trouble as much as he can. This way, if he stayed low, he could stay out of trouble or prevent something worse from happening to him, such as death.
Just recently, on November 11, 2019, Lil Reese was shot in his neck by a random shooter. He was just sitting in his car when someone walked up to him and shot him in the neck. Luckily, a good samaritan was walking by and saw it happen. He then transported Reese to the hospital and stayed with him until the police arrived.
It was confirmed that it was indeed, Lil Reese and he was sent to a different hospital where he was listed as in critical condition. However, that hospital was able to treat him. News broke of his tragic shooting and his friend and collaborator, Lil Dirk posted a tweet: 'Lil Reese Good' with a blue heart emoji.
The hospital released Reese on November 15 so he was only in the hospital for four days. He instantly got onto Instagram Live to show his fans that he was alright. He didn't say anything to them about what happened, though, just sat there reading the comments while listening to 'I Don't Know' by Jon B.
Celebrity Net Worth and FamousDeathBirths reported that his estimated net worth is about $500,000.
