Everything to Know About the “Love Is Blind ”Pattison House Wedding Venue — All the Details (Exclusive)

Trena Anderson and her husband purchased the Texas property in 2016 and then spent two years restoring it before officially reopening in 2018

Season 5's Love Is Blind couples aren't the only thing fans are talking about from the latest installment of Netflix's ongoing social experiment! With the final episodes of the show behind us there's buzz about the gorgeous venue where the couples walked down the aisle.

This season, Love Is Blind hosted their weddings at the Pattison House in Texas. While speaking to PEOPLE, owner Trena Anderson shares what it was like working with the Love Is Blind cast and crew.

"We had a wonderful experience working with the Love Is Blind team to create some beautiful spaces for the show," Anderson says. "I’m not sure how the producers found us, but we received an email from the producer of the show wanting to make an appointment to view the venue. About 12 different people from the show came and toured our venue as well as other venues in the Houston area."

"As a small, family-owned venue, we were honored to be ultimately chosen. Houston has a number of very beautiful venues to choose from, and we saw it as a great compliment that the team recognized the flexibility and beauty of our space," she says.

"While we had to use some rooms in atypical ways to accommodate a film crew, we were thrilled to see our space was flexible and accommodating to their needs," she continues. "For example, Love Is Blind used our actual chapel as the media room where the producers, film crew, sound guys, etc. had all their equipment and monitored filming."

For Anderson, the highlight of working with the reality TV show team was helping curate the flower arrangements for the couples' wedding days. She says they water-picked over 1,200 hydrangeas and dozens and dozens of roses.

"The arrangements on the stage were huge — over 6 feet tall! It took us around 17 hours to create the arrangements and stage decor for that ceremony scene," the owner says. "Other florists who assisted with the weddings included Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe in Richardson, Texas. She did Milton and Lydia’s wedding based on the inspirational pics that Lydia supplied us."

Being able to showcase Pattison House on television was a dream come true for Anderson, who provided PEOPLE with more details about the venue.

The historic venue located in Pattison, Texas

The Pattison House is located in the heart of Pattison. Anderson says she and her husband, Danny, purchased the property in 2016. They spent two years restoring it before officially opening in 2018.

"The house is listed in a book of historical homes in Waller County that was published in 1976. It gives the history of the home, the original building costs, etc. The house is listed as the 'Guy T. Pattison Home,' hence the name we gave when opening the venue," Anderson reveals.

"The bride’s house is the original 1917 home restored. There is also a restored barn that was built in that same year as well as many large live oak trees that were planted that same year or shortly after," she says, explaining that because it's about a 40-minute drive from downtown Houston, the venue "offers the tranquility of the countryside outside of the bustle of the city."

She adds: "It is an ideal place for families to get away and craft memories together."

Pattison House is all-inclusive

What's nice about Pattison House, Anderson says, is that you don't have to think about a thing. From decor to photography, everything's included.

"My goal is and always has been to assist families in creating beautiful memories by taking stress away from the wedding planning experience. This is why we are an all-inclusive venue and partner with some of the best vendors in the business. We eliminate the need for coordination of schedules and connection with contacts for the couples," she continues.

"When couples decide to get married at the Pattison House, they not only get a venue, but they no longer need to worry about finding and coordinating vendors for catering, wedding cakes, flowers, etc.," she says. "We provide them with excellent vendors who have a history of exceeding expectations at our venue for our clients, and an established working relationship with us."

The venue offers a room full of diverse styles of decor for the couples to choose from for their wedding decor.

"Not having to buy or rent these things saves the couple enormous money and hours of time," she explains. "We cater to young professionals and college students who do not have the time to plan a wedding but desire to have a beautiful event that does not impose on their professional schedule or study time."

The venue only hosts one wedding per week

Anderson says another part of what makes Pattison House special is that they work personally with each couple to help them customize their wedding experience.

"We only host one wedding a week in order to devote the time to our couples needed to make their wedding day everything they dreamt it being," she says. "Our couples can choose to be married on our oak-covered patio, in the original barn, in the gazebo by the pond, or in our beautiful chapel. We like to offer choices to our couples that make the day truly reflect them."

"We do only Saturday weddings but give access to the venue on Friday for rehearsal and delivery of all wedding party clothing etc., so that on wedding day there is no need to pack and then unpack cars with belongings upon arrival," Anderson continues.

She adds: "On Sunday afternoon after the Saturday event, we allow our couple’s families to come pick up belongings after a good night’s sleep so they are not loading vehicles after a full day of festivities. Our goal is to make the wedding day as stress-free and carefree as possible."

There are five main rooms at the venue

Pattison House has five main rooms, including the Bride's House, Reception Hall, the Chapel, the Groom's Room and Pattison Place.

"The Bride’s House is where all of Pattison House's brides get ready. It is the original farmhouse on the property," Anderson says. "The decor is French country. My husband was working and living in London for a year when I started this project while looking for inspiration for the venue. I found it on a trip to France while visiting him in London. It is filled with vintage French furniture, prints, photographs and accessories."

"The Reception Hall is a new build but has the same French country inspiration with huge chandeliers, a rock wall with protruding stones that hold candles to the top of the 16-foot ceiling, a mixture of heavy wooden tables and soft cloth-covered tables, a few pieces of antique French furniture and a wall of vintage mirrors to reflect the light from the rock candle wall," the owner continues.

Similar to the Reception Hall, the Chapel is also a new building. It has an entire wall of shelves covered with candles for the couples to marry in front of, giving off a very romantic vibe. "It is simple but elegant with gold crystal chandeliers, white walls, neutral floors, and very rustic candlesticks throughout," Anderson shares.

The Groom's Room is a space the venue provides to the groom and his groomsmen to get ready in. It is attached to the men’s restroom, which has a shower as well as ample mirror and sink space for getting ready. "It is decorated in a style that evokes a men’s smoking room or lounge feel," Anderson says. "It has a small refrigerator and an Xbox for entertainment and, of course, cable TV for any big Saturday sports games."

Lastly, Pattison Place is a 1935 house adjoining the original venue property that Anderson and her husband purchased and restored as a place to host rehearsal dinners and smaller weddings. "It is decorated in a Texas rustic style complete with some of my husband’s hunting trophies and rustic furniture we had made by an artist here in Houston who uses wood from old buildings mainly from Mexico," she says, revealing: "This is the building Love Is Blind used to film the grooms getting ready as our actual Groom’s Room could not accommodate cameras and men."

She adds: "While it was fun to see the venue filled with glitz and glamor, we are proud that it doesn’t take all of that to make our venue special. We work hard to allow our couples the ability to relax and enjoy their day, making memories as beautiful as the pictures they are taking. We believe that is what sets Pattison House apart; the beauty of the property isn’t even the best thing about it."
