Who is Dr. Alicia Egolum?

Just like Heavenly, Dr. Alicia is a dentist-turned-mompreneur. Dr. Alicia was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, so it only made sense for her to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham to complete her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology. She completed her doctorate degree at Howard University and did her residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

She grew up in a single-parent household with her mom and sister, giving her a real appreciation for what women can accomplish; Dr. Alicia is the first doctor in her family. But, just like Heavenly and the other ladies on the show, she has ventured into other passions to stay busy. She pivoted mid-career and is now a real estate agent licensed in four markets, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. But she still stays tapped into dentistry by giving back and providing free dental care to those in need through community outreach and mission trips.

Is Dr. Alicia Married?

Dr. Alicia married her husband, Dr. Nkemakonam Egolum, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, in 2017 in her hometown. Their wedding was a celebrity red carpet affair theme based on their couple name, "Power Couple," given to them while they were dating for five years before getting engaged in the Bahamas. The couple met at Howard University, but they now live in Atlanta with their two children. Dr. Alicia is even planning to launch a children’s clothing line inspired by her kids.

See how Dr. Alicia connects with the other ladies of Married to Medicine when Season 10 premieres on Sunday, November 5 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
